On this date I first met my teman sejati (name in my cellphone), my better half (although physically we don't look like two halves, but at heart...yes) , my true love.

It was 5am. I had just arrived from Klang (by bus and then cab) accompanied by two of her younger sisters who both studied at UiTM.
In front of Desasiswa Cahaya, in a cold early morning at USM, I first met my life partner.

Mata bertentang mata, dari mata turun ke hati. Dup dap dup dap berdebor sampai terlupa nak bayar teksi.

Flashback :We were introduced by my sis-in-law (Kak Chik) thru a photo. At first I was reluctant to be matched this way. After few persuasion, I agreed. Nothing serious in my mind but to play-play calling calling only lah..
Our first conversation was thru the phone wave on Jan 20 2001 (read: 20012001)

One phone call - that's all it takes for the cupid to strike. I felt that we have the chemistry, and on that day only, we talked for more than 4 hours. (gatai sungguh)
The rest is history.

Back to 1002 2001.
We had a great day. Went to Batu Ferringhi (of course accompanied by the two sis-in-law - kacao daun betul la..hehehehe). Take photos, lunch etc...takkan suma nak citer sini ye tak...?

The climax for that particular day was when we declared our love to each other. Of course I confessed first (tak malu).hahahaha....
At 8:01pm, (read: 20011002 2001) we promised to be lifetime lovers. Until now and hopefully forever, we will be happily ever after..till death do us part.. and kemudian di syurga...Insya Allah.

And on the same year (december) , kami selamat diijabkabul..alhamdulillah...(lagu tema masa tu...In Team - Kasih Kekasih. tiong tiong tiong (starting lagu tuu..) hehehehehe

Sebelum aku lupa, hari ni 10 muharram. tapi dah terlambat nak ingatkan orang suh puasa sunat.

We talked about the environment in Uitm nowadays and who is where or what.

Zaidah - Ketua Jabatan pada WanF. I remembered her as my tutor back in 1995 and my lecturer in Artificial Intelligence. Suara kecik2..yang john suka imitate...
WanF told me that she has several awards in her bag related to Artifical Intelligence. Wow!

Memang melampau...Teramat emosi bila tgk kartun tu.
And I'm not gonna share the kartun with anyone although for the sake of "information only", as I deem that as spreading the work of the laknatullah. Never.

I just can share one, but with words, not image.

Main Layang-layang

Yesterday, I bought a kite from the sundry shop for RM 0.50.
Indah wanted to play kite after she saw budak2 kampung kat ganu main kite.

At home I tried hard to recall my memory on setting up a kite. It was almost twenty years when I last played a kite.
When all done, at 6.oopm I tried to fly the kite. Indah watched me with high hope but Haida was sarcastic about the idea her husband is going to fly the kite..hehehe..ni kes dah mencabar ni..

And the wind was so strong that my first attempt was foiled because the kite pusing2 cam giler and terbelit kat wayar depan umah...isk.....tensen betul.

Then I brought it down and do some 'modification' to the ekor.

After that, I managed to flew the kite. (sori lupa amik gambar) Indah had the joy to hold the kite, 50 meters up away from her. And she was very happy...until....

arggh...hujan..suma kena balik....

An expriment...

Orange is THE color.

Yes! Finally I chose butter scotch orange to match the Lamex border wall paper for Indah bedroom.
The initial concept is 'garden' but then I could not find the suitable wall paper for the theme. The closest is farm and garden. Bolehlah match lagu Old MacDonald.

Some books/magazines are against orange for bedroom as they claimed it could make some people restless or aggressive. But for a milky orange matching with white furniture, the 'energy' of the color will be balanced. Furthermore, Indah as we know, will not love gloomy bedroom.

All in all, it was just an experiment from inexperience parents. Let's try this first and see how it goes. I can just repaint if it is not suitable. But for this moment, I'm very much satisfied!

I always wanted to be away from norm. Pinky kids bedroom is common. So as blue. Lavender and white is booked for my bedroom. That left Indah to not much of an option.
There are not many colors left and I believe orange is a brave and rare choice for bedroom.

ps :Lagipun bukan bilik aku...dia bukan kisah pun..to her suma cantik...hehehe..takdelah..tak la se cruel tu...

Disini solat, puasa, haji memang tak nampak manfaat, tapi korang akan dapat manfaatnya disana, akhirat yang kekal abadi…macam bayi, dalam rahim tangan, kaki, mana ada manfaat, bila dah beranak kalau cacat, cacat selama-lamanya, tali pusat yang paling sedap dalam perut mak kita jika bagi kat korang sekarang, muntah bueekkk, korang…tapi manusia hari ini sibuk besarkan ‘tali pusat’ hingga lupa pada perintah Allah…nauzubillah…

Kempen Keselamatan Jalan Raya

I was proofreading my earlier post and suddenly.. Screeeeeeeeeeeettttttttttttt.....gedegang..gedegung...pranggg!!
Sah..eksiden depan umah. The busy road in front of my house slalu ada eksiden...yang mati pun ada....
Without further a do...(cheh mcm speech plak) I grabbed my digital cam and rushed to the scene.. These are what I got...





Luckily both driver and passenger (mamat sorang , awek sorang - melayu) survived with minor injury. I dont know how's the Honda Accord (or isit civic vtec?) though..

So..kawan2 beringatlah semasa memandu....During my trip to Tganu, ramai betul org yang degil. Memotong kat selekoh and masa naik bukit. Dua tu yang paling aku tak leh terima. Itu kebodohan hakiki yang terlampau bengap. Memang menyusahkan orang. Even kalau bawak laju pun bleh terima lagi...tapi bukan la laju tak bertempat kan...(bagi aku la, tapi aku tak bwk laju..hehhee..betul..)

And one more..jgn memandai nak nak amik nombor ekor bila nampak no keta kat atas tu..

This is a usual scene during long holidays at Kampung Losong, Kuala Terengganu.
The yummy yummy keropok lekor is the main attraction at Kg Losong, where the tourist and the local will flock to this area for best quality of keropok lekor.

Kak Yah is the most successful local Keropok Lekor enterprenuer. Along the 1 km stretch , there are not less than 20 keropok lekor stalls. However I guess their return, combined is at par to Kak Yah alone.
Some locals say that Kak Yah's is not the best. However because of her good bussiness planning, good marketing and good management, her name is very popular for west malaysia kepok lekor lovers.

Her husband was a teacher. He is the most educated person compared to all these usahawan keropok lekor in Kg Losong. So the moral here, your product need not to be the best, but your creativity, knowledge and self-discipline (betui ke eja ni?) are more important.

Badminton exercise with the wife...

Petang semalam main badminton ngan haida.
Tak pernah pun main ngan dia sampai betul2 berpeluh..
asyik terbantut je...pastu nak tergelak pun ada...isk..
1st break...
haida : eh jap..jap..chop..chop....tali bra tercabut
hucs : ek elleh....baru main depan umah dah tercabut itu ini....cepat aa..baru nak syok main ni.
then..main lagi...baru pukul 20-30 kali...

2nd break..
haida : eh tu wani (jiran sebelah umah yg duk kat KL gak) ek? ish..besor doh anok mung...dok jupe2 pung.....doh ni? lekak peruk pulok? loh weii...bior gok anok tu besor skek...bile sapa? jdkafjf jfjfpf f sfsf....
bla...bla..bla.....
aku gak tercongok mcm kerang busuk..tunggu conversation tamat...
pastu sambung lagi main.....PING! PING!...sapa pulokk??

3rd break
haida : eh..pok usu awang mari..nok tgk aboh ler tu...jap na..kena gi panggil aboh ngan mok..nok suh adik kay buat air..bla..bla..bla..

ceh..takde semangat kesukanan langsung...potong sting aa...
finally, panggil adam (adik ipar)..baru la sonok skek ....
ni la payahnye main badminton kat depan umah di kampung...dok feel langsung..asyik kena interrupt je..hehhehe

Went to Pantai Batu Burok again yesterday morning. Started taking photos at 6.55am. Could not get a single good shot at sun rise due to the heavy fog
Took a good morning walk along the beach. aahhhhh....sungguh nyaman......
Byk gak orang baru balik surau, and terus ke pantai...berkain pelikat and berkopiah.
Memang nyaman dan berkabut...bestnye kalau hari2 dpt sedut udara camni...

Semalam ramai sungguh org melawat kak cik...dok putuh-putuh..
Dari kawan sekolah, sedara mara, kawan tempat kerja, kawan masa buat degree and master.
Cuma kawan yang dia tgh buat phd yang tak sampai lagi..maybe diorang suma kat UM/KL kot...

Behnye kak cik dpt anak lelaki. Dah dua dah anak;sepasang. padahal masa dia kawin, Indah umur dah 10 bulan..
When is Indah's turn nak dpt adik ni.....??
Tahun lepas ummi indah tak leh pregnant coz buat KPLI (kursus perguruan lanjutan ijazah)
So 2006 is the year.......usaha tangga kejayaan..yihaaa!..

pagi tadi gi beli bfast kat anuar durian burung. Kul 7.30am makanan dah habih…isk..laku sungguh..

then terpaksa plak carik kat pasar cabang tige….ok la…

tetiba kuar suggestion nak bfast tepi pantai…..so…zrass…terus gi pantai…

Kat pantai batu burok, ramai orang jogging..aku je tak jogging..tapi makan..tu kes biasaaa…

Hari ni ramai gak sanak sedara dtg melawat anak kak chik…
So..aku pun tatau nak buat apa..ramai org pompuan yg dtg…nak ngorat, dah kawin…heheheh…
Ingat petang ni nak main layang2..berangin kat sini…tapi tgk dulu camner…
Tak pun gi pantai lagi ke..ajak indah plak…boleh swim2…

Journey to KT

Alhamdulillah..selamat sampai.. Although lambat bangun (4.30am instead of 2.30am), sempat kuar umah by 5.30am

Journey yang quite relax. berenti 3 kali..altogether 8 jam baru sampai..hehehe.. kali ni ikut jalan pantai sebab lepas musim hujan ni, pantai selalunye cantik.

6.45am solat subuh kat hi way karak. petronas tepi jalan sebelum tol bentong. ingatkan genting sempah crowded...rupa-rupanya situ pun sama..

kali ni ramai orang balik..ye la cuti panjang..so nak semayang subuh pun crowded. tapi yang aku tak paham tu... kalau dah tau org beratur panjang, masa dah suntuk, paip ada satu..ada gak orang amik semayang mcm nak pakai air satu kolah.

ye la..yang wajib2 dah lah..keisan la org lain yang tunggu.waktu nak habih...

tapi pemandangan orang bersesak2 nak solat subuh tu yang mengharukan.. masih byk orang yg gagah tak tinggal solat..org muda2 pun ramai..alhamdulillah..

kul 9.00am ingat nak bfast kat hiway pantai timur...punyelah ramai orang..kedai makan bukak dua je..
kena beratur mcm kat asrama..
so kensel...jalan dulu...

pinggan tak dicuci dari mlm tadi..tak de gerai jual nasik pagi2 ni..

then, the next R&R....orang tak ramai..ingatkan ok lah...
rupanya cuma ada kedai minuman je bukak...sib baik ada jual roti bakar..ok lah buat bfast...
lain kali nak berkelah la...bwk bekal pun orait gak

kul 11.15 jam gila babas kat cukai...ada la stuck 1/2 jam kat pekan cukai tu.
Call zainal ali (dulu dia ni duk kat kerteh, skang dah pindah KL) tanya pasal tempat makan kat kerteh.
kul 12.00pm sampai kat restoran mawarni(as suggested by zainal)..ok la food dia.sedap. masakan kampong and reasonable price...
then terus ke KT. sampai umah around 2.30pm.....
‘terpaksa’ makan lagi (lunch dah menunggu...sup ikan tenggiri baru naik ke darat 2-3 hari..mana bleh lepas..heheheh)
bestnye balik kampung!!....
mcm nak raya plak....
selamat menyambut maal hijrah.

it's been a while since my last balik kampung to my wife hometown.
I luv to be there..the tranquillness (is there such word?), the sepoi2ness, the people, the food...

tak sabar rasanya. will leave home around 3.30am tomorrow.

sian dia...so we all balik ni pun nak jengok2 dia..

doa2 lah selamat pergi, selamat kembali...

Got this from an office colleague (eileen the mek kelate).

A jobless man applied for the position of "office boy" at
Microsoft. The HR manager interviewed him then watched him cleaning the floor as a test.
"You are employed" he said. "Give me your e-mail address and I'll send you
the application to fill in, as well as date when you may start.
The man replied "But I don't have a computer, neither an email".
"I'm sorry", said the HR manager. If you don't have an email, that means
you do not exist. And who doesn't exist, cannot have the job."
The man left with no hope at all. He didn't know what to do, with
only $10 in his pocket. He then decided to go to the supermarket and buy a
10Kg tomato crate. He then sold the tomatoes in a door to door round. In
less than two hours, he succeeded to double his capital. He repeated the
operation three times, and returned home with $60.
The man realized that he can survive by this way, and started to go
everyday earlier, and ret urn late. Thus, his money doubled or
tripled every day. Shortly, he bought a cart, then a truck, and then he had
his own fleet of delivery vehicles.
5 years later, the man is one of the biggest food retailers in the
US. He started to plan his family's future, and decided to have a life
insurance.
He called an insurance broker, and chose a protection plan. When the conversation was concluded the broker asked him his email.
The man replied, "I don't have an email."
The broker answered curiously, "You don't have an email, and yet have
succeeded to build an empire. Can you imagine what you could have
been if you had an e mail?!!"
The man thought for a while and replied, "Yes, I'd be an office boy
at Microsoft!"

Moral of the story:
M1 - Internet is not the solution to your life.
M2 - If you don't have internet, and work hard, you can be a
millionaire.
M3- If you received this message by email, you are closer to being

Both girls are in their top form. Should be a very interesting game!.

last night was historic.

indah tido bilik sendiri sorang2..hehehe..

i admit that I should start leaving her alone masa kecik2 dulu...tapi first kid kan...tak confident..

Bilik tu pulak belum decorate. kalau dia ok for a week, then I will decorate the room.
what i did last night was just a simple decoration.
Letak cadar kartun, beg skolah dia, buku dia, few teddy bears.
I also lukis satu gambar kartun of the three of us.

Some offices allow cigarette breaks to their employee. For each cigarette they would easily spend 10 minutes off the desk.If during office hours, they are having 10 cigarettes, that's already 100 minutes.And company is OK with that. No question asked

At the same time, the same offices, do not allow their employee to do internet browsing for non-business related during office hours. It is called 'misusing of the computing facilities'.

For me, as long as you go to harmless sites, internet browsing should be allowed. People can do banking, bill payment, reading on line news, and so on nowadays. Life without internet is a past thing. Are they implying that smoking is acceptable and internet browsing is not?
Isn't better to have internet-browsing breaks between your stress works, instead of cigarette breaks? Unless it is a tobacco company..tu lain citer

tadi lunch gi area pertama complex sbb member ada hal kat MARA. After more than 20 minutes waiting, we decided to makan je la kat gerai mana2 tepi ni sbb takut dah tak sempat.
So we found this gerai tepi jalan. CT Selera. In between medan MARA and PERTAMA complex.
Makan nasi campur je...
Tapi harga....mak oii..mahal kemain..
Nasi putih + ayam goreng + sayur bayam + ais kosong = RM 6.30!!
Member aku kena lagi teruk
Nasi putih + ikan tenggiri sepotong (kecik) + sayur taugeh (org ganu kata cambah) + teh o ais limau = RM 8.20!!
I'm not talking about air conditioned room restaurant, but gerai biasa yang pekerjanya indon. Angin sepoi2 berflavor asap2 bas boleh dapat secara percuma and unlimited.
Apa yang mahal sgt?!! Hampeh! :(

Weekdays common sight at Parcel E Putrajaya

All these cars are parked (not moving) and none has the driver waiting.

Went to Putrajaya this morning for Cikgu Haida's matters. When I was there,
I found that it's very hard to park your car at Parcel E area (dunno about other parcel)
After few rounds, I decided to ask one mak guard (more look like adik guard yang come lote),
where the hell the public parking is.
She answered, " Kat tepi2 jalan ni je lah yang ada pun..."

What??!!!
Cam ner diorang pikir? Tak kan takde parking utk public? These are KEMENTRIAN's offices. Mesti byk visitor or client from all over the country. Tapi takde public parking. non akal acceptance sungguh

Selangor kalah Lagi. Kali ke enam dalam 8 perlawanan.
Tak tau nak kata apa lagi. Indah pun dah lama tak pakai baju bambang pamungkas (yg baru score satu gol je season ni)

First goal salah defend (seperti biasa, although keeper dah byk save) 2nd goal keeper dah save, defend lak gi rempuh keeper sampai bola terlepas...kartun sungguh!!
Maleh nak ulas panjang.....letihh...

And semalam pun bukak2 je tv, malaysian double tgh main semi final All England. Masa aku bukak tu, MAL 14, Denmark 7. Aku pun syok la layan. Tapi memang buang masa dan karan betul. Boleh diorang kalah set tu 14-17!!!. Which means , denmark tu bleh dpt 10 point, without the Malaysia sempat cecah 15.!! cheh..
Single pun samae. Lee Chong Wei leading Lin Dan 14-9 dlm rubber set, tup2 bleh kalah 14-17.
Ye la, kalau kat Indon bleh la kata kena jampi ke apa...ini kat Birmingham. nak kata apa lagi? mental lemah la kot...lawokssss (berita sukan tv3 baru je buat ulasan, and diorang pun kata mental lemah - daya fokus, pembentukan sikap semasa latihan , dan ketajaman naluri sejauh mana mahukan kemenangan)

Malam ni Liverpool lawan Man U. Aku yang jarang follow ni rasa nak tgk plak. Memang aku dari skolah rendah suka Liverpool (zaman baju Candy and Ian Rush) Zaman tu foreing club aku kenal liverpool ngan Napoli je (itu pun sbb kat suar track ada tulih Napoli...heheh )
Bagi aku, Liverpool ada persaman dgn Selangor (dari segi prestige dlm country masing2 and the supporters tradition).

So good luck liverpool...(and aku mmg tak suka Man U - sbb apa aku pun tatau).

Walls Chicken

Baru2 ni ada kuar iklan ice cream Walls Cow. During the commercial, teringat pulak pasal Walls Chicken (Ayam Dindings). Maybe quite late for me to post this but asyik teringat2 je pasal benda ni bila nak makan ayam.

Latest development of this issue is the company was given back their certificate of halal product by JAKIM. This is contradicting with JAIP, which is in the midst of cancelling the halal cert. (JAKIM give halal cert for the product and Jabatan Agama Islam Perak (JAIP) give the halal cert for operations).

Within a week.
That is all it takes for JAKIM to cancel and then reapproved the halal certification for this company. I dont want to speculate what has happened behind all these actions. But I personally feels it is 'luar biasa' (ikut phrase Pak Lah for the 9-menteri-memorandum issue)

Patutnye, hukuman melanggar operasi produk halal diperketatkan. Not as easy as, after re-evaluate, they can get their license back. Senang-senang je!

I would suggest : (sapa sokong angkat kening sebelah - joke bell!)

1. If found guilty, although for the first time, their license will be revoked FOREVER.
2. Harsh punishment (sebat ke, jail ke and bukan denda)
3. Akta kediaman terhad.

This is how we should treat someone who does not respect our faith and our trust. Maximum punishment for those who take muslim's integrity lightly. Jangan buat main ooo..pasal halal haram makanan ni. Nabi pun paksa cucu dia yang masih kecil, muntahkan balik kurma yang orang sedekah (keturunan nabi tak leh makan benda sedekah). Budak kecik yang tak tau apa2 pun tak de exception.

Ofis aku terbakar pagi tadi...

We had a fire on our buidling this morning.

Fortunately enough, it was just a drill. But unfortunately enough I had to execute the building from my 11th floor office using the staircase. Wish I was on the 6th floor, enjoying my breakfast. Dah la belum makan.

At 8.45am, I went 11 floor down for the drill. pagi2 buta dah exercise...

Had to line up and wait for nearly 1 hour under the hot ultra violet rays (with thinner protection from the ozone than the previous years)

And the above photo is the result. How exhausted we are.

Pekena teh-o-ais-limau-kedai-tingkap near the construction site.

From there, it took another 30 minutes to cool off our body and get back on track. Still failed to get back on focus. So, I decided to put on this log.

There goes half a day...sigh...(alasan)

Few good things about fire drill:

- It is when we could 'refresh our database' on freshies in the company. One year after another, we could notify new comers better only at the event like this. Reason : We were grouped by departments and floors. :) Easy update to the directory.

- It is the time for us to catch up with old friends in different dept and divisions.

- And , I dont have to attend my weekly teleconference at 9am today!

Info Liyana
Liyana Jasmy, 18, dilahirkan pada 28 Mac 1988 di Kuantan, Pahang, namun dibesarkan di Kuala Lumpur.
Dia mendapat pendidikan terakhirnya di Sekolah Menengah Taman Melawati, Ulu Kelang, Selangor dan menduduki Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM), tahun lalu.
Drama TV pertama yang dijayakannya ialah Si Lembik. Drama lain termasuklah Buat Yang Tersayang di samping Rosyam Nor dan Haliza Misbun yang juga drama pertamanya bersama Suhan Movies. Seterusnya drama Najwa di sisi Rosyam dan Sidi Oraza ketika berusia 12 tahun.
Akhirnya Rosyam melamar Liyana untuk filem pertamanya, Castello. Ketika menjayakan penggambaran, Liyana baru berusia 16 tahun. Lebih menarik, Liyana bukannya datang dari keluarga seni dan tak pernah mendapat pendidikan formal dalam seni lakon.
Kini, Liyana sedang me nunggu keputusan SPM yang dijadual diumumkan sekitar Mac depan. Dia bercita-cita melanjutkan pelajaran dalam bidang seni persembahan dan jika berkesempatan, ingin belajar sampai keluar negara.

IM dengan member kat opis. nama je member satu opis tapi jarang jumpa. we joined the company at the same time, and were once very close masa dolu2 (same unit-geng lunch) . tapi skang masing dah lain2 unit, lain floor.

she suggested we get together during lunch or come over to her house or she comes to my house. reason being boleh tgk perkembangan anak2 masing2. hehehehe. so i invited her , hubby and haziq to bandar puteri this sunday.

Aku rasa memang lah anak ni buatkan kita lagi happy. kalau tense kerja, bila balik main dgn anak, hilang sket tension.

although semalam antara hari paling bosan, tapi bila balik rumah semua jadi ok. and today, i started my day with fresh mind. thanks to indah.

4.00 - terus keluar office
4.15 - naik lrt
4.40 - naik bas - off to klang
5.40 - sampai petronas kat depan hospital; shah amik
5.45 - mata bertentang mata ..dgn indah. dia excited sgt tgk abi dia balik awal
6.05 - habis mandi, solat asar
6.10 - first time bawak indah naik beskal dia gi taman. she was very excited. I jogged along
6.15-6.35 - 20 minutes of brisk walk pusing taman , while indah main beskal dia. rasa lega sangat dapat kuar peluh and entertain my daughter.barulah rasa fresh sket bila tgk indah happy sgt2.
6.45 - haida sampai dari sekolah. i jogged back home, indah bwk beskal, haida drive

a perfect 45 minutes that has energized me and lifted up my mood. until this morning i felt so happy that i started work at 7.10am.

lepas post ni, nak sambung keja balik. ala ni baru 10 min break je..hehehe

p/s - hari ni kul 9pm baru bleh balik. tak dpt main ngan indah :(

I came across one article in the sun today .it's about an artist in australia who draw paintings with her breast.

she said she usually 'draws' on the kitchen table and sign her paintings with her nipple.
I wonder if we can get two identical paintings at one price? one effort, twice the product

would be good to hear any male artist who dare to challenge this creativity.

and I bet the end result for the painting would be sharper and no duplicates. Should be easier due to the 'pencil-like' shape.

i was driving yesterday, taking my own sweet time for angin petang; enjoying my holiday before getting involve with the rush tomorrow (today is my first working day of the year 2006 and kena balik lambat lagi...sigh..)

thinking of dina zaman...where are you?

i got few people who misinterpreted what i meant as 'thinking of dina' in 'about me' section in this blog.

i was 'introduced' to gongkapas.blogspot.com by 21 answers. from that moment my 'love' for dina has grown tremendously.

i have never seen her or met her in my whole life, but I LOVE her writing. I dont know who she is and yet a day would not pass without me browsing her blog. She has a good sense of humor and she expressed her feelings well in her blog. I have yet to come across a blog (so far) that could replace or even at par to gongkapas. I missed her ...writings. they were very lively.
kalau buku or majalah ke, boleh la beli and baca. ini blog. mana nak carik hardcopy?

i was very very sad when i learned that she has stopped from blogging due to work commitment (betul ke?) as i know that i will never find her again or get touched by her writing.
i still hope she will start up a new blog as gongkapas.blogspot.com is already taken by someone else. sigh...can't u just use other name??

And again, government has bent the rules when it comes to disciplining the public. So, jgn lah pening kepala bila orang tak nak dgr cakap government in future

Ini bukan denda (I remembered dulu they said these people will be penalized) In this case there's no penalizing. Cost for new MyKad is RM28.60. Government will still bear the cost of RM 18.60.

And then, until when will this offer lasts? Until end 2006? Then what? Will then be another havoc at NRD branches by end 2006? Just to avoid to avoid to be charged RM 15 for 2007?
What is this? Why are they being pampered?

O.k..O.k maybe ada explanation from NRD on why the came out with this decision. (Just to 'bersangka baik')

2006 dah masuk 4 hari......aku tgh buat apa?

Time flies.

Diam tak diam dah 4 hari 2006. I'm still at home.blogging.goblok betul. Amik cuti dua hari sbb anak aku ngan ummi dia, dua2 masuk sekolah baru. So, dua2 kelam kabut and as the hero in their world, aku wajib jadi planner and executer of the plan.

Jan 3rd - My one and only daughter (so far) enroll to her kindergarten. At 3 yrs, 2 month, I guess she is the youngest for the age 4 group. Unsuprisingly, and as expected, she had no problem on the first day. (mana tak nye, start masuk nursery at the age of 70 days)

When I was parking my car near her new kindergarten, she asked me,

" Abi, nape abi hantar Indah? Indah nak naik van"

Mak aii...over la pulak.. :)

And when we walked her to the teacher on that morning, she was very excited, a bit nervous maybe. Dia tak toleh and salam pun abi and ummi dia..terus je menonong salam cikgu and masuk building skolah. hehehe..giler eager nak pi skolah.

After kindergarten, she was dispatched to the nursery (same owner) by van.

My wife and I were watching from far (without her noticing us) when she got off from the van, transitting to the nursery. She had no problem at all.

At 5pm, tuk wan amik dia kat nursery. dia ok. and looking forward for tomorrow.
Ya Allah! tima kasih banyak2. bukan sikit budak yang melalak meronta. Syukurrr.....Alhamdulillah.

We always noticed that Indah memang very independent. dia tak byk susahkan abi n ummi dia.
I hope this will continue to grow with her...until she is a big big girl, in the big big world..

I stumbled into this letter-to-editor from one of the last minute myKad applicant in today's NST. Actually i dont like to say anything on this, but sometimes gerrramm betul la dgn perangai orang mengada2 ni.

THIS is hardly my style in managing problems but after 15 minutes of waiting for the aduan screen of the National Registration Department website to download, I decided to write to you instead. My issue is with regard to the renewal of MyKad. I do realise that about one million people who are just now renewing theirs are late, but I am also sure that we will find reasons for their delay.

The question is, didn’t the NRD anticipate this when they planned for the change? I went to the NRD office in Serdang last week with my son to renew our ICs. At 9am, we were told that all numbers for the day had been given out. We went to the Kota Damansara branch on Dec 28 at 8am and were told the same thing. On Dec 29, I returned to Kota Damansara and started queuing up at 6.45am. After nearly 1½ hours, we were again told the same thing.My questions:

• Why did the NRD officers not count the people queuing and inform them that the quota had been exceeded so that we could either go to other NRD branches or cancel our leave?
• Why couldn’t they have given all those queuing up a number and tell them specifically when to return? This is what the NRD office at Putrajaya does.
• If these offices are on a "strict" quota, how is it that a woman who came after me managed to get her MyKad done? She told me that her husband knew someone in the office.

I really can't stand this kind of people. What on earth is she thinking? What the hell is she complaining about? Still want to blame NRD for all the problem during the last minute free renewal MyKad period???!!

Ini macam punye orang sebenarnye memang banyak. Look at these sentences:

hucs says : pale hotak kau NRD tak anticipate. sesedap hati je komen orang. nakl ayan kerenah sekor2 memang tak habih. macam2 benda diorang dah anticipate. siap dgn polis and RELA lagi nak jaga orang yg datang serbu. because of these people, everyone is suffering. and 300+ days were given. bukan satu je NRD tu..byk location tau tak. pleaselah..stop blaming people lah.

• I do realise that about one million people who are just now renewing theirs are late, but I am also sure that we will find reasons for their delay.

hucs says : I'm confident that not less than 95% from the one million have no reason in delaying their card renewal.

• Why did the NRD officers not count the people queuing and inform them that the quota had been exceeded so that we could either go to other NRD branches or cancel our leave?

hucs says : NRD staff are already working more than 16 hours at some locations, just to entertain these indiscpline people. They are given mineral waters, chance to win a MyVi and many more. On top of that, gov has to pay the overtime for the staff. And all these are not NRD faults!! And now this peson wants NRD to do more extra work. I agree that this is indeed a good sugestion but should not be a complaint, from this ungrateful people pulak tu!

• Why couldn’t they have given all those queuing up a number and tell them specifically when to return? This is what the NRD office at Putrajaya does.

hucs says : Same as above. Plus, it is hard to give the estimation. Some branchs gave wrong estimates and people were complaining. So it is better for them to let the people to decide when to come.

hucs says : nasib ko lah. padan muka. orang tu dtg lambat sbb dia boleh buat anytime. dia kenal org dalam. lu sapa? dah tau takde contact, apsal tak buat awal2?

I still believe there's no excuse for any of us not to renew the myKad within the given time. it is mere procastination, ignorance and stupidity (minus for some minority genuine case lah). Tak kan in 365 days u takde satu hari pun? apa pun alasan yg these people nak bagi, to me...padan muka je.hahahaha

and another significant contributor for these people to procrastinate is because of previous government standing on this kind of event. Usually they will extend the date and so on. However, not this time...ok la tu..improve sket...ajar sket orang mengada2 ni.

i finally watched this movie. i'm a fan of afdlin. so maybe ada bias sket la i nye review on this film.
film ni mmg besh...besh and kelakor lah. (layan je la) and it is definitely 'lain dari yang lain'

• citer simple tapi message yang berat - be loyal to friendship
• takde individual hero - 4 orang character sama berat
• takde heroin - pompuan cina tu bukan heroin
• narrator citer tu ada dua , satu ada la 10% related with the whole movie and the other one is not a character in the movie - xxxx and tok dalang (aku tanak ckp sapa yg xxxx tu. anti climax ler)
• simple giler citer tapi sebab keja afdlin ni detail, all characters are well developed
• flashback yang clear and very different.interesting
• ac mizal mmg patut jadi pelawak dari dulu lagi instead of tubuhkan 4u2 kutuk...

cuma ada beberapa part la yg membosankan and i just wonder why afdlin allow such thing to happen. maybe dia ada reason sendiri la kan...hehehe

• scene gaduh and scene seriuos lama sangat sampai meleret and hilang mood org nak gelak lagi, rasa nak fast forward je

i have always believe that a man can befriends a woman without much problem. as long as we know who and where we are, and we are being honest. we only have to compromise and understand each other in the relationship.

platonic relationship maybe? not to that point for me. it was.( 4 years ago). but not now. not anymore.

i always put my wife and family as numero uno. top priority. can't someone understand that?
why would an old friend (or best friend as she describe) still have problem with this? i really tot this is a common understanding between us.

i'm a type of people who highly value friendship. however my wife is not keen for me to maintain the same friendship with this particular woman (i understand her jealousy..berasas la jugak. my friend ni is single mingle and intelligent. eventhough i have reason out with her, she is still not comfortable with my relationship with my friend ni. tapi takde la sampai dia melarang)

tapi..susah la nak lupakan member baik. my wife main reason is simple and undoubtly valid. i once pernah tertarik dgn this woman. tapi kalau my wife paham apa yg i rasa skang, dia tak perlu risau lah. anyway.....

but this friend of mine, despite her understanding in platonic relationship or man&woman as good friends or whatever you call it, she really dissappoint me. deep inside i feel hurt..betrayed..as if she doesn't understand my situation, my limitation, my sacrification, my risk etc. i always tot friends do not remain together...friendship does.

o.k lah, i know that she was angry because she feels that i'm cheating my wife. why can't i make my wife understand? but as mentioned, i couldn't. only for this particular friend, she will not give her 'consent'.

i guess this relationship susah nak continue. May be Allah pun tak berapa suka sbb I'm being a bit liberal in this case. may be i have to draw the line somewhere.

to my friend, if you read this...pls understand that i have nothing against you. nothing. maybe I have to really understand who I am now. I just want to say how i feel.

hardones...i miss u guys

hardones ni nama geng-geng aku punye yahoogroups masa undergraduates dulu. diorang ni memang ngam. cuma aku ni je yang dah lama tak join diorang. aku rasa aku makin dah renggang ngan geng2 ni kebelakangan ni. maybe sbb aku sibuk keja? or maybe sbb interest kitorang lain? tapi aku rasa aku tau apa sebabnye. maleh la nak tulih kat sini.kot2 orang baca nanti, aku tanak la kecik kan hati sesapa.

tapi aku memang missed diorang nih. aku antara yang awal kawin dlm group ni, so kureng aktiviti dgn diorang lepas kawin ni. lagipun aku duk klang, diorang , mainly aktiviti kat kl.

aku rasa aku kena patch things up lah dgn diorang. how and when? aku pun tak tau. i hope that aku bleh join suma reunion yg diorang buat. diorang slalu communicate time keja. aku balik opis baru nak bukak personal email. isu pun dah basi. and itu pun kalau ada masa nak respond to email.
