Last Friday night , I went to watch GUBRA by Yasmin Ahmad at Bukit Raja TGV.
Everything went well until this 'couple' came in.
Both were male and lenggok suara diorang were very mendayu2 gitu. With the suara garau ala2 mak nyah, they commentedthe story all the way from beginning to end.
Actually, after a few minutes, I was very disturbed.Aku pandang lama kat diorang (they were one seat next to me), dia buat tak reti je..(nak pandang lagi lama , takut dia ingat aku nak ngorat diorang plak)
From one scene to another, suma dia komplen and comment. Sakitttt telinga aku.....
I was about to explode, but I was with my wife. She warned me to ignore them. Since aku dah janji ngan dia nak behave and improve my temper kat orang2 bodoh di atas jalan/kedai makan/wayang/etc... aku pun kena la tahan marah.
Baik aku ikut cakap bini aku, kang dia tanak kawan aku kang..lagi payah..
Tapi dalam hati meluap-luap...
But after a few minutes, I managed to rationalize. Nasib baik la aku tak buang masa sound diorang tu..buat rosak my movie outing je..Biasala..setan hasut masa marah tadi.
So, I just concentrated (hard) on the movie, and enjoyed my night outing with my wife (without Indah)
"Biarkan luncai dgn labunye"
Moral of the story, jgn layan org tak cukup kepala hotak..sebab dengan mengkontrol marah kita, kita akan jadi orang cukup berakal.. :)

Terkena buatan orang....... Kenapa?? Tak Percaya ke??
The flood that hit my home in Bandar Puteri (see previous post) also bring GOOD news
The news that I've been waiting for sooo long...

Haida injured herself during the flood. Jatuh terlentang...
So on Monday, we went to clinic because the pain did not go.
When the doctor wanted to prescribe the painkillers, she asked whether Haida is late or not.
We confidently answer that it should not be the case.Ye la..baru je check..takde apa2 pun..
But then, I still insist the doctor to confirm. So dia pun gi la buat UPT.
We were so confident it would be negative, that we told thedoctor that we dont have to come in again. Just take the medicine at the counter and pay.
But then, the doctor called Haida back to her room. And I pun heran la jugak.Nak explain apa lagi kalau negative kan..
Then, Haida asked me to join her in the room. Aikkk?? Betul ke apa aku pikir ni??Haida angkat kening sebelah sambil senyum.
And I saw this.
Mendatangkan hasil jugak usaha-usaha yg berterusan dan consitent itu...
Usaha yang 'mengenal penat dan lelah' tapi tanpa putus asa..hehehe
Alhamdulillah.....Indah akan dapat adik...mid-end December.
Let's pray for the baby and mom's health....and the father also laaa...
Oo...kalau rumah banjir, maksudnye nak dapat rezeki la ek?? melimpah-ruah la harapnye. Amin

Wet world
I always tell my friends that if they want to play futsal, they can come to my house in Bandar Puteri. Why? Because I got very few funiture in my new house. Blum ada wang mau beli banyak sekaligus maaa...
But if anyone come to my house last weekend (2am to be specific), they will not able to play futsal, but maybe main kapal kertas atas air.
My one and only hard-earned house was hit by flood. :( It was a very sad thing to accept.
12.30am - baru nak tido. Heard the rain has just started.....Ignored buy very worried. Our wet kitchen always naik air bila hujan lebat more than an hour.
1.00am - Terjaga.
Hucs - Daa, gi tgk dapur. kot2 air dah naik...
Daa - ala...takde apa2..baru je hujan...
1.15am - Terjaga lagi...but no action taken.
1.30am - Terjaga. This time I got up and went to the kitchen to check. Ya Allah!!..to my suprise, not only the wet kitchen, the dry kitchen pun dah masuk air..all the barang plastik suma dah floating.........damn!!..the fridge!!! the fridge!!!..
I switched off the power and we carried the fridge to our living room.
Then..what's next? mati akal aku..air naik cepat gilos bas bas bas bas.....aiyaakkk
Then we moved all electrical appliances to the living room. The were all on the floor as my house x de cabinet lagi.
Baru nak rehat, I sensed that the water dah nak masuk living room plak....
aa sudaaahhh..
We moved all things onto the stairs and tingkat atas.
Then I realized!!...The store room!!! (same level with the living room)
Aku dah penat dah..so I just saved item yang memang tak boleh kena air langsung..itu je yang mampu.
I called Majlis Perbandaran Klang hotline to seek help on pumping out water, but they transfered my call to bilik gerakan bencana JPA3, where one of the officer ask me ," Encik perlukan pemindahan ke?" Ada tak dewan orang ramai kat kawasan tu? "
Hehehe...nasib baik la tak jadi reality....
2.15am. It was already ankle-deep water in my living room. The worse was the wet kitchen. Closed to knee-deep.
Then I remembered my neighbours. Mesti ada yang tak jaga dari tido lagi.
So I got an umbrella and a jacket and rushed to their houses. Some were already up. We failed to wake up this one neighbour. Only after 1/2 an hour, he woke up. He looked around, smile and then masuk tido balik!!!?? boley tak??
Maybe dah takde benda dah nak save..so dia buat dono je..hehehe..lantakk la..
Then I started to take photos. And below are few of them.

The next day, we were told that, not only bandar puteri klang was hit. The flood was caused by a faulty kunci air and more than five other housing areas and tamans were affected. Some of them, the MPK (Majlis Perbandaran Klang) was still pumping out water after more than 12 hours, form the rain started. As for my area, the water cleared at 7am. Thank god!
p/s - my network card kat umah rosak. Ada masa kat office je nak update blog. dah lah keja tgh banyak skang ni.....payahhhhh..

"I sell panty liner..."
What do we understand about open office concept?
Open office concept is where your privacy is not as great as closed office.
I used to work in single room for few years (4 years) before this open concept being introduced in my company, or department to be specific.
Not like last time, I feel that this new office is too open. I can not sayang2 with my wife on the phone anymore. Not comfortable and orang lain pun akan muntah.hehehehe
Sikit2 bisik ok lah...
And we have been given training on how to BEHAVE in an open concept ofice, so we wont offend others, or embarassed ourselves.
However, this one colleague of mine, despite of never being in single room office since her day one in the company, still could not comprehend the need to be sensitive to others in the open office.
She yelled to people few meters from her, talk on the phone like she is in the closed public booth or her bedroom and mumbling loudly on her work.
She just moved near to me few weeks back or a month or so. First, I could ignore, but from time to time, I feel irritated.
However, sometimes, I feel it funny and it tickled me to the bone!!!
A line like this would definitley stop me from continuing my work....
(On the phone) "Berangin tak? Diorang kata berangin sikit. Tapi kena letak air sikit la....."
You want to know on what topic is she talking about? HERBAL SANITARY PAD!!!!
HAHAHAHA....memang kelakor..
And then other lines about credit card, top up , how to go to meeting on the herbal pad business, stock panty liners and 1001 stories, that goes thru my busybody ears. Also Lotus Notes keep crashing with Dr Watson error and going for prayer.
No wonder my performance is dropping nowadays....

This morning, a bit late than usual, at 6.30am I arrived at Klang bus station for my daily bus to KL.
The front bus was full, so I went to the second bus.
Apparently I was the first one waiting for the second bus door to open.
People behind me dah start sibuk2 nak menyelit....Setakat jadik org kedua, or ketiga pun nak berebut jugak...tak paham langsung aku!
O.k lah..I just ignored them, but saje buat lambat2 when the door opened.Hehehe..bagi diorang lagi rasa nak berebut...Tu takde hal la..
Next, I got on the bus and handed the driver RM 10 note for the ticket.I paid for two (my brother was with me) so, the total is RM 6. Balance should be RM 4.
Ntahkenapantah...suddenly the driver talk to me with a very sarcastic tone..
" Mana ada duit tukar pagi-pagi ni..?!! Pegi duduk dulu..." (teringat iklan dulu2, orang beli stem 20 sen pakai duit RM 50)
Aik?? ni apa hal ni..dah bertahun aku naik bas, tak penah pun orang sound.Aku pun naik la lambat2, sambil tengokkkkkkkk muka driver tu...
adakah dia gurau2 di pagi hari?? atau malam tadi dia tak dapat??
The Klang-KL-Klang busses nowadays, mana ada pakai machine yg masuk duit tu..
The driver will be the cashier, and the always have change..always..
O.k la..kalau takde pun..cakap la elok2..
It so happened that I am the first person..and dia tak prepare the change..
Orang blakang2 aku bagi duit RM 10 tak pulak dia sound...
I was so disturbed with him...that I have planned my words, before I see him again to claim my change...
"Bang..dah cukup ke duit baki tadi?" I asked him after I saw he had collected the fairs from few other passengers.
Nak tau dia jawab apa?
While handing the balance to me he said, " Lain kali nak naik bas, bawak la duit kecik..!!!" also with the same tone as earlier..
Aku terus jadi panas...
I said, (loud n clear..satu bas dengar)
"Abis tu kalau dah takde? Tak bleh naik la?! Lain kali tulis kat pintu bas tu,
Sila sediakan Wang kecil (by the way, tak de pun kat luar on anywhere in the bus)Kalau takde wang kecil, jangan naik! boleh?"
And added some few lines like
"Driver lain tak penah kecoh pun!. Orang naik bertahun2, tak de hal pun. Yang pagi2 ni nak bagi rosak mood orang ni kenapa?? Apa masalahnye ni??!!"
Tak jawab pulak..sian plak aku tgk dia terkebil...buat dono je..
Come on la...Customers always right la joe!!..kalau salah pun, cakap la elok2..
Memang kepala diorang ni besar sket...tapi bukan suma, ada yg baik.
I am a person, who always be courteous to others, who ever they are.
But I will also be the most rude person, if they started, who ever they are!
I know my wife doesnt like the second attitude, but I am improving from day to day.I dont want to be arrogant or pemarah. Biar orang buat jahat, but we should maintain our pride, dignity and quality of a muslim.
Tapi tadi terlepas jugak..hehehe..
Ini bukan cerita contoh...patut benda ni , sapa2 yang baca, jadikan sempadan la..
Pikir2 balik..stoopid je marah2 orang ni..kan?? Buat hilang mood je..hampehh

The dilemma of being an AFRORAMA
I am in a dilemma.
I was force to join the Esso Recreation Club Inter Department Karaoke Contest by my fellow afrorama group members.
This year, my department top management is very serious about it. Our department holds a very impressive track record, but we did not participate in 2004 n 2005.
This ERC Karaoke Inter Dept is a serious matter for all dept's top management.
They would go all out to ensure their dept win the title. Some forked out money form their own pocket, and in some events, it could reach up to RM 2K or more.
So , this year, EMIT (ExxonMobil IT) department wants the title back . (We last won on 2002) The IT teambuilding club is being pressed by the top management to work hard and coordinate a team to participate into this contest.
Why am I in the picture? I was part of the AFRORAMA team, who won the 2004 GIS Idol (GIS is the old name for EMIT). We sang 'kahayalan' by ruffedge and VE.
But that was different. Itu untuk suka2. And it was on 100% vote. (maybe becoz we were popular la kann)

I will not be able to stay committed, thus it is fair for me to back out.
On the rapping part, anyone can do it...tak kan takde org bleh ganti aku kot.....

For this ERC contest, the judges are like from Yamaha skool of music and all professionals outside the company.
It is a grand annual event by ERC, and the winner will perform at the company annual dinner.
If I were to participate, a lot of time and effort is required.
I don't think I can spent too much time on this, with my current worload and nights audioconference.
I will not be able to stay committed, thus it is fair for me to back out.

Indah's skool field trip - aku yang lebeh...
I went to Indah's Kindergarten field trip last Saturday to Domino's Pizza and High 5 bread factory.
We gathered at the kidergarten's compound as early as 7.45am.
At that point, baru I noticed, that I'm the only male joining the trip.
Tapi OK la jugak kan..aku takde masalah kawan ngan mak2 budak and cikgu2 budak ni..hehehehe
o kkkkkkkkkkk..sapa kata tak o kkkkkk... muahahahaha...Tapi kena kontrol sket la kan..mem ada kat sebelah...heheheh
tak..aku sebenarnye budak baik..mem ada ke, takde ke..behave...yes..behave..behave like what? hehehhe
I dont know why, but masa tengah beratur tu one boy from 4 years old class, started to cry..mula-mula...sket je...
like..sob..sob..sob..., but then after few minutes, it turned into UWAAAAAA!!!!!
Reason : Scared? missing the mother? i can't tell.
Yang peliknye, there's another boy who started crying, after he saw the first boy in front of him crying.
Pulaaakkkkk....?? tau la nak pegi domino's pizza, tak kan menangis pun domino...isyy...
Then masa tu plak, I saw this one kid, mula2 ok je...then dia plak yg dah mencebikkk bila tengok dua2 dah nangis.
and finally.......dia pun meletup jugak...
pergh..power la diorang ni punye nangis. kuatnye resonance sampai others pun bleh nangis as well..
nangis sama2, but without the same reason.
Pas tu bila bas dah sampai..ada plak yang termuntah lah..isk...memang payah bawak budak2 kecik ni field trip.
Before naik bas, diorang berikirar and baca doa naik kenderaan...
ikrar : "kami berikrar, akan mengikut perintah Allah, ibu bapa dan guru, serta saling tolong menolong sesama rakan" lebih kurang gitu la .
Then bila suma dah under control....we boarded the bus ..and the journey began..
First we went to Dominos Pizza at Careefour Subang. Bleh tengok cam ner diorang buat pizza..and makan pizza tu..tu je..
Bleh buat Pizza sendiri..blasah je topping apa..muahahahaha..tapi serious..
Yg buat sendiri punye, rasa cam tak sedap..ntah apa2..byk sgt tangan..
Tapi budak2 besor je la buat. Anak owner bawak geng2 dia dari convent klang, form 2 students. ada la 7 orang.
Masa diorang buat pizza la aku menyelit, sbb masa budak2 kecik, diorang tunjuk je..x bleh buat
hehehhe...
Next went High 5 bread factory at Shah Alam. They have this proper tour program on the history of bread and its evolution. Dia panggil bread town. Good for kids, and mak bapak kids pun. The factory is the largest in South East Asia.
First they played the video on bread history, and then journey thru the bread tunnel.
Memang exciting la gak...RM 10 sorang for adults...
It is like a long overhead bridge in the factory. We walked in the covered and air conditioned overhead bridge, while looking at the complete cycle of bread processing
Then, nak balik dapat roti free, tu je...and dapat beli roti yang baru siap..tu je..

Yang peliknye, there's another boy who started crying, after he saw the first boy in front of him crying.
Pulaaakkkkk....?? tau la nak pegi domino's pizza, tak kan menangis pun domino...isyy...
Then masa tu plak, I saw this one kid, mula2 ok je...then dia plak yg dah mencebikkk bila tengok dua2 dah nangis.
and finally.......dia pun meletup jugak...
pergh..power la diorang ni punye nangis. kuatnye resonance sampai others pun bleh nangis as well..
nangis sama2, but without the same reason.
Pas tu bila bas dah sampai..ada plak yang termuntah lah..isk...memang payah bawak budak2 kecik ni field trip.
Before naik bas, diorang berikirar and baca doa naik kenderaan...
ikrar : "kami berikrar, akan mengikut perintah Allah, ibu bapa dan guru, serta saling tolong menolong sesama rakan" lebih kurang gitu la .
Then bila suma dah under control....we boarded the bus ..and the journey began..
First we went to Dominos Pizza at Careefour Subang. Bleh tengok cam ner diorang buat pizza..and makan pizza tu..tu je..
Bleh buat Pizza sendiri..blasah je topping apa..muahahahaha..tapi serious..
Yg buat sendiri punye, rasa cam tak sedap..ntah apa2..byk sgt tangan..
Tapi budak2 besor je la buat. Anak owner bawak geng2 dia dari convent klang, form 2 students. ada la 7 orang.
Masa diorang buat pizza la aku menyelit, sbb masa budak2 kecik, diorang tunjuk je..x bleh buat
hehehhe...
Next went High 5 bread factory at Shah Alam. They have this proper tour program on the history of bread and its evolution. Dia panggil bread town. Good for kids, and mak bapak kids pun. The factory is the largest in South East Asia.
First they played the video on bread history, and then journey thru the bread tunnel.
Memang exciting la gak...RM 10 sorang for adults...
It is like a long overhead bridge in the factory. We walked in the covered and air conditioned overhead bridge, while looking at the complete cycle of bread processing
Then, nak balik dapat roti free, tu je...and dapat beli roti yang baru siap..tu je..

My biggest blog
I had a very stressed but boring meeting this whole morning.
From 8.30am to Noon on the most dry subject on earth : Document controls and Risk Assesment.
And we only achieved 20 % than what we have anticipated to achieve for this morning meeting.
After the meeting was adjourned, and everyone has left the meeting room, I stayed for a while, thinking about the action items, the next plan and so on.
Banyak nye keja..maleh betul la buat benda ni..
Then suddenly I remembered my blog. While browsing others blog, I got this idea to make my blog big. How?
I connected the projector to my laptop and....heheehe....poofffff! the biggest blog appear!!! yay!!!

Telecommunication Today
When I was a small kid, there's no handphone in this world. And not every home has fixed line telephone.
Telecommunication in Malaysia has grown tremensdously over the 20 years...the same rate as my growth..if not less.
Telekom Malaysia is now called TM. Bambang Pamungkas (Indonesian footballer) pun masuk our phone advertisment. Our parliament is debating on handphone usage among school. Budak sekolah ada yang tak tau pakai public phone. Streamyx is not the only service provider for broadband . I can now do voice talk thru my pc and it' s free.
Nowadays, SMS play a major role in telecommunication. Malaysian spent billion2 a year on SMS. They are now too dependent on SMS. Nak suh pick up - SMS, nak cerai - SMS, nak ugut - SMS, nak menggatal - SMS, nak beli tiket wayang - SMS, nak vote to-be artist - SMS, nak bagi artist award - SMS, nak bayar bill - SMS. and 1001 SMS usage.
I went to bakal rumah (maybe kot) Siti Nurhaliza lunch tadi. Ada Toys R Us kat situ...
My partners in crime and me spent time at Toys R Us.
I found this one toy amusing...
A gadget for SMSing - tak payah bayar your service provider. free...SMS la sampai mampos..tapi tak leh AFUNDI la...
However on the packaging, it did not mention the distance it could cover.

Konvo Cikgu Haida
Last Saturday I attended cikgu Haida's convocation at Maktab Perguruan Teknik Cheras. Alhamdulillah, she graduated with cemerlang overall and among the 4 who got cemerlang for practical for sekolah rendah. Bravo!! aku plak yg lebey...hehehe
The event, as expected was ssooo dragging...(ye la konvo mana yg tak dragging kan?) I punyelah boring...dah siap terlelap dah..
While waiting, I flipped thru the convocation booklet and found this...
Yes, two of the teachers were graduated in 'Pengajian Penyaman Udara'.
Anyone who graduated in this must be very 'cool' .
I dont know that you can graduate in air cond. hehe...
Sib baik takde "Pengajian Seterika" or "Pengajian Penyedut Hamapagas". Hehehe
Back to the convo story.
Nothing much to say but I suprised Cikgu Haida with a bouquette of roses. 5 roses for year 2005. Presented by Indah.
Dulu masa dia grad degree, aku yg bagi. So this time biar lah Indah bagi.
Mula2 saje je kata tanak bagi sbb diploma, bukan master punn..(acah je...tak suprise laa..)
Tapi takpe la..bukan senang nak dapat diploma perguruan. Kalau sepenuh masa, macam2 kena buat wooo..
Dia punye ko kurikulum, class seharian dari 8 pagi sampai 4 petang, teaching aids nak prepare, and assigments.
Buat diploma dalam 11 bulan termasuk practical. Memang padat.
Lagi2 pulak ada anak kan..memang kena byk berkorban.
So for all those reasons, and result dia pun ok, I pun dengan ikhlas and bangganya bagi la bunga tu...

Kesiaaannn...tak patut...
You guys remember Adi Putra? The then 6 years old genius kid whos hocked the whole nation with his ability to solve mathematics equation and complex problems? The level of complexity is as the same as in PHD level. (lagi susah daripada add math? hehhe..apa kellas add math..)
He is now in standard one in one of gov schools.In the beginning I was very sceptic on the idea to put him into standard one. Everyday he has to learn 1,2,3, 1+2 = 3 and so on, while on reality, he is a kid who has developed his own logic in solving complex mathematics equation.
We know that our government will support a six year old kid who is doing well in sports. Millions of dollars, will be forked out from our pocket (tax) in order to provide the kid with best facilities, coaches, diets, etc.
But why when it comes to one-in-a-million bright kid, who have high potential to become one of the world genius, the gov does not have a special program to encourage the kid in exploring and discovering his best.
Why must enroll this poor kid in a normal school, with the curriculum meant for majorities? He certainly need special attention and guidance.
And what I feared most has come true.
Adi Putra mungkin dibuang sekolah
In today's Utusan Malaysia front page, the kid might be expelled from school.
Reason: Regular absentism due to boredome yang menyerang di bilik darjah.
Sian dia........dah rugi berapa bulan dah.....
Aku sedeyy...
Sebab aku dulu pun cam dia..aku tau la perasaan diaa....uhukk..uhukk....
Aku hampir2 jadi genious in sexual education - anak murid Sigmund Freaud (betul ke eja nama mamat ni?)
Ni suma pasal harga minyak naik la ni..isk.... (saje selingan)

Headache with Malaysian Commuters
Everyday i uses public transport to office. To me it is convenient.
U can sleep and dream your way to KL. And when you open your eyes..you are physically in KL. hehehehe
And going back time..same thing
You are tired. A nap would reenergize you when you reach home to meet and entertain your family.
I have been commuting for 5 years from klang to KL by public transport.
I have seen how the public transport system growing over the years.....(tapi growth dia sembab dan lembab la sket)
More efficient nowadays. More convenient. More accurate (timing wise)
With the recent launched of Rapid KL intracity service and the unpopular fuel price hike, it makes me think twice to drive cars nowaday.
Eventhough there is always room for improvement, I am pretty much OK on the infrastructre or services of public transporation . Boley laa..tak byk problem..
However, not all aspects would not easily improve..
What I could not tolerate is the mentality of the commuters.....tak reti nak beratur naik bas...tu yg kadang2 buat aku give up and tension...

Bleh tak, kaki aku dah pijak tangga bas, then tup tup...ada org mencelah, masuk bawah ketiak (tgn aku pegang railing tangga bas tu aaa) and menyelit..macam la bas tu dah penuh..tak sempat2..Aku apa lagi..dgn brutalnye, using my ultra heavy body mass, tolak dia..terduduk kat tangga bas tu...then aku pun buat2 la tak nampak dia..siap cakap..oppsss....hehehehe
kira logic la...aku tgh nak naik bas, then dia dtg menyelit...logic la aku mcm tak perasan dia kan??dia pun siap cakap sori...heheheh..menjadi tactic aku...
tu baru satu citer..lum lagi makcik2 nak tarik anak2 dia berantai..anak dah besor plak tu..F5 pun ada....isk...
tu belum lagi citer suma org kat depan buat bodo je ada org pregnant, tua tak dapat duduk..bukan nak bagi...last2 aku gak kena bagi..huhu...
Bukan aku tak iklhas nak bagi seat aku..cuma geram ngan org2 depan tu...bagila dulu...nanti kalau ada yg lain, aku bagi la seat aku pulak..May be diorang tak pk kalau anak or wife or mak bapak diorang kena cam tu....What goes around comes around tau...
Ok .lah..cukup lah mengomel...

Look abi!!! my black eyes went closer to each other!!
Minimize your activities under the hot sun
Do we realize that the sun rays nowadays are very hazardous?
Look at photo below.
I left the first receipt (the not-so-white one) on my dashboard for one whole day.
To my suprise, the receipt has turned into a burnt-like colour.
That was on my car dashboard, with the tinted film.
What if it is direct sunlight? On your bare skin? Even worse on your baby's/kid's bare skin?
Is it safe? In a long term?
So..kesimpulannya...
Sapa mau beli losyen? dalam catalog tupperware ada mcm2 lotion... sila order kat hucs..

Please dont eat here my friend....for your safety
I stumbled on one of the scariest restaurant on earth.
Of course I was not there to eat. Just passing by the corridor has already made me feel uneasy.
However, the people in the premise looks like good people.
The owner must be very brave (and confident) to use the name for his restaurant. Maybe he has the backup needed.
Maybe it is for privacy or to ensure others to stay away from their 'hide-out'.
The strange thing is, why dont the police take some action? Are they afraid too??
I heard that Sarip Dol from Kampung Dusun is one of the stake holder of the restaurant.
Among the favorite songs in the premise are Gangsta's Paradise by Coolio (betul ke) and Samseng by Ahli Fiqir.
The photo below was taken at 6.45am, when everyone in the premise are busy to start the business for the day.
I was lucky that I'm still in one piece. Took the risk so that you guys would be able to see this photo....
And my advice - Please stay away 'kay...

Sorry, wrong direction given.....
In conjuction with the school holidays, I took two days leave to entertain cikgu haida and indah.
Yesterday, the whole day, we went out, shopping, jalan-jalan and visiting friends' houses.
One of the house is in Taman Puncak Jalil in Puchong/Bukit Jalil area. My wife's friend had given birth to a one day old baby boy.
It was our first time to that area. The road condition was very bad. We got confused with the initial direction, so we gave her a second call.
And the direction given was, " Aaa..terus je, nanti nampak orang jual pau. Then nampak Tadika Mawar Merah"
Sounds very straight forward and easy huh?
I saw one pau seller....and made a left turn. Tried to find Tadika Mawar Merah. Found more than 10 tadika/kindergartens but none was Tadika Mawar Merah. Then I made the second call, and confirm that it is Jalan 1/4 instead of all the Jalan 2/xxxxxes.....
I got out from the area and try to find another pau seller..sigh.....nampak org jual burger ader ler..
biar betull..pau ke burger??

Finally, I saw another pau seller. And right behind it is the Tadika Mawar...
Pheww.....Sib baik there's only two pau seller....kalau takk......Makan pau la sambil carik rumah
Moral of the story, if someone is coming to your house, please put your self in their shoes when giving direction
Then, the second house...
Again, poor direction was given..
Ada ke dia kata , " Jalan straight je...ada byk2 simpang..pandai2 la agak..... Then Ikut je keta yang banyak 2 tu..."
" Nanti jumpa jalan besar, nampak Petronas. Ada dua station. First one boleh nampak, and the second one, tak leh nampak. haa...u buat la u-turn kat Petronas yang tak nampak tu.."

Hahahahaha.......gilo apo? Tak penah aku dapat org bagi direction mcm ni..hehehe
1.Kalau aku pandai2, tak payah la aku tepon hang..
2. At that time , there were not much cars...I can say no car at all. So how am I going to follow "keta yang byk2 tu?"
3. Kalau aku tak nampak Petronas tu..cam ner aku nak buat u-turn??
Yang bestnye...bila dah sampai kat area tu..she said, "u can park anywhere. In front of the carwash tu kira dekat. "
So, "in front of the carwash" I parked. Carried Indah to level 3 using the stairs, just to realize that something is wrong...Apsal nombor rumah dia tak sama???
Oh my god??? salah block kot...?? Then I realized, it is not THE mentioned carwash. It was the OTHER carwash. There were more than one carwash at that area!!! ...Astaghfirullahalazimm.....
Apa punye direction niii...???
Moral of the story again......same as above..maleh nak cakap bykk...

I saw one pau seller....and made a left turn. Tried to find Tadika Mawar Merah. Found more than 10 tadika/kindergartens but none was Tadika Mawar Merah. Then I made the second call, and confirm that it is Jalan 1/4 instead of all the Jalan 2/xxxxxes.....
I got out from the area and try to find another pau seller..sigh.....nampak org jual burger ader ler..

Pheww.....Sib baik there's only two pau seller....kalau takk......Makan pau la sambil carik rumah
Moral of the story, if someone is coming to your house, please put your self in their shoes when giving direction

Oh my god??? salah block kot...?? Then I realized, it is not THE mentioned carwash. It was the OTHER carwash. There were more than one carwash at that area!!! ...Astaghfirullahalazimm.....

Again..the 30 sen issue
I dont know who they are.. :) Their identities are protected as I believe they are all minors
I love this photo.
It was taken after the Friday prayer, during the peaceful demonstration for protesting the fuel price hike.
Dr Hatta and Nasharudin is leading the crowd, marching from KLCC mosque to Dataran Petronas where FRU is waiting for them.
At least two helicopters were also seen.
The protest ended when the FRU used the water cannon to disperse the crowd at around 4.15pm, in front of Petronas Twin Tower.
Our TPM ask the people of Malaysia to change their way of life. I agree with that. But is he changing his lifestyle as well? Are the people in the cabinet change their lifestyle? I dont think so..
They still receive their paid vacation, transportation allowance and so on. I dont believe there's a pay cut or allowance cut imposed to them.
They dont feel a pinch from this 30 sen issue. They will retain their lavish lifestyle hence the fuel price hike.....
But I do! If I'm efficient enuff in using petrol, I still need to pay around RM 60-70 extra a month!!! That is only daily usage and no extra usage like jalan2 and so on!!!
And that's why I couldn't agree more when they protested this...
Pak Lah said, the money will be used for development of the country.
There are so many avenues to save money and if they put people as priority, increasing the oil price should not be in the list.
I dont want to elaborate more....
And to me, this is not about politics....This is about amanah or trust that were given to them, to administer our country's natural resources.
The oil is OUR property. It is not Petronas's nor the ruling goverment's. We just have to understand this fact.
Misuse of office equipment
This is a strobe light. The word F I R E must be there for a reason. Yes, the light is meant for urgency and emergency.
Everyone knows that if this light is blinking, then some serious attention must be given.
It was last seen blinking few months back for our fire drill. And yesterday....it blinked again.
The thought of evacuating the building, 11 floor down thru the staircase made me cursing...
"Damn........again?"
I was looking at my umbrella and jogging shoes....Should I bring them down as well? From past experience, the weather outside is a major problem...to me at least
Everyone was 1/2 panic. Should they evacuate or waite for instruction?
Suddenly, the PA system started to broadcast some noises..
"siiiyyyynncckkkkkgggqqqqqqqq........" that high frequency sound, when someone goes near to a microphone...

We should be grateful..
"Ucaplah alhamdulillah, Syukur kita kepada Allah" - raihan
I was doing my work, when my wife turned on the tv to watch TV3 Bersamamu edisi Khas - Final.
I have heard too many comments that tried to belittle TV3 effort on conducting this programme
Some people yang tak paham hujung pangkal of this program said,
"exploiting the unfortunate"
"menangguk di air keruh"
"nak tolong orang pun nak masuk tv"
"mesti ada udang di sebalik batu"
"saje je buat org menangis dalam program tu..padahal nak naikkan rating"
Whatever they said, if you watch the programme and the impact it has to the people, you will be touched. My hat's off to TV3. Kudos for the effort and ideas..
For those who always like to critics, please laaa...what have you done to this group of people? Dont easily condemn others if you yourselve did nothing!
I was very3x touched with the issues brought up by the program especially when the episode is about kids. How strong they are and yet confused, angry, need attention, frustrated and so on.
Kids are kids, and they do express their feeling openly.
There's one episode where one of the younger siblings, scribbled her emotions on the wall of their house, just to remind her to obey her elder sister who sacrifies a lot for the family (mother and then the step mom died).
They asked the person who scribbled to read it out loud, but she refused. Then they made the sister to read it and then everyone was in tears as the wordings are very sincere...
It was one of the saddest episode....:`(
And I always made Indah to watch the program so that she could understand that we should always be grateful.
Tonite episode is the closing for this season. First Malaysian Idol was there to sang her song, Wajah.
This song has all the right wording and melody to make stop from my work, and focus on the lyric.....

My Paparazzi skills...
Last weekend, I was busy and full for the whole Sat and Sun. My cousin (same age, male) got married.
On Sat was the nikah ceremony and followed by the bersanding ceremony three hours later.
The bride house is in Keramat AU4.
The day went well.....and the knot were finally tied...Alhamdulillah....bertambah lagi masjid kat mesia ni..
Usually kan, bila ceremony dah habish kan...the bride will throw the hand bouquet and berebut2 anak2 dara sambut. kononnye will be next bride laa... tu kalau tgk tv omputih la...org malaysia pun ada gak yang buat...
Tapi... my brother lagi power...he got to be 'on the bride's shoes'
How did that happened?
His sandals went missing when he left them outside the bride house. After searching for more than 15 minutes, we concluded, his sandals could not be saved. Poor him..
The bride heard the problem and guess what...she let my brother to have her slippers as replacement. suma orang tengok and heran. kira adik aku stole the limelight of the bride and groom sekejap aaa..
HAHAHAHA...
dalam keta, aku pun start jadi sarcastic....
"Orang pegi majlis kawin, dpt bride punye bunga hand bouquet, ada org dapat selipar.."

Piccadilly Reunion???
Remember Piccadilly at Atria, Damansara? For some people it would mean nothing, but for some others it surely did ring a bell.
This place was very popular to the teens back in mid 90s.
The saturday Hi-Tea was always crowded with teens as the admission fee is as low as RM 13 if not mistaken. (Tapi kira mahal laa bagi aku)
As for me, I used to go to Picad after my SPM (zaman jahilliyah sket la masa tu)
When I first went there, it was just suka2 following my friends. That was before I continue my studies in PPP. I was working in gillette-oral-B-kilometrico factory in shah alam after my SPM. So, that's how I got the money to spend. Nak harap mak bapak..siapa nak bagi kalau utk gi enjoy? hehehe
I was going there with no purpose...just to feel the experince.
When I was in PPP Shah Alam, I continued my visit to Picad and some other club such as Pyramid Supper Club (dah tak wujud dah bangunan tuu), Life Center and few others.
But my visit is with purpose (alasan), to support the underground alternatives rock group and also to meet up with my school friends who were then in local universities or colleges.
At that time there weren't many alternatives rock groups (Nirvana time)
Some that I can recall are Butterfingers (All members are my classmates and schoolmate except for Emmet the leading singer), Subculture, Splatters, OAG, mangosteen, and this one all-girls-band and banyak la lagi..tak ingat ler..
How did these stories popped up today?
I was reading The Malay Mail this morning and saw an article saying Radhi (OAG) is planning for a reunion for the people of Picad in mid 90s.
For me, of course I will not go for the reunion as my intention last time is to support Butterfingers and meeting friends. That's all. I only went to Butterfingers gigs.
I will go to the clubs where Butterfingers was playing.
I dont know the motive for this reunion but I think it is a waste of time and money.
Orang suma dah besor panjang, and like me dah 'cuci tangan' from all these. The place where I wasted my youth days and money.
And I thank god, I did not continue with the same lifestyle anymore, and hope that I will always change to be a person, husband and father.
Enuff is enuff....but I still luv 'butter' music....hehehe...
My hope is, my kids will not follow my footstep. Nothing to be proud for involving in this kind of activities. There are more other beneficial activity which warrant the energy that the youth's have. iQah is one good example. I need to learn from her how her parents guided her to be who she is now. I shall adopt the good points and nurture my kids to have this mindset. To be a useful youth when the community need them most!!!
I dont blame anyone for not 'guiding' me. Zaman tu memang kesedaran kurang sket..biasa...apa yg kita perlu buat skang is berubah..sikit2 pun takpe..
Lama2 ok la...at least ada perubahan..kan?

Newly invented tools...and it worked...well..
Malay proverb ada kata "Rotan tak ada, akar pun berguna juga"
That was what happened to me tonite. I was preparing for a conference call and suddenyl noticedI could not use my handphone (earphone tertinggal)
So, in that urgent moment (5 minutes before the conference call start) I used my MacGyver imagination and skill...and voila!!....below photo is the result.
Nanti I nak patent, and sapa nak bleh order....okay?

Kalau dulu satu tank penuh around RM 60.00, today onwards will be RM 72.00. And that is one full tank. Monthly, my car consume around 5 - 6 full tank.
If 5 full tanks a month, it will be an increase of RM 60 a month!! (12 x 5)

Petrol up 30 sen
KUALA LUMPUR:
The price of petrol and diesel is up by 30 sen a litre effective today, the highest increase in the past two years.
However, the Prime Minister's Department, in a statement, said that this would be the only increase for the year.
Public transport and commercial vehicle operators only face a 15 sen rise for diesel.
"The Government has decided to introduce a direct subsidy for these operators, making up 84% of diesel users, through a fleet card scheme," the statement stated.
"With the card they will be able to buy diesel at 15 sen less per litre than the new price.
"The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry has sent out letters to the operators who qualify for this scheme."
The Prime Minister's Department also said the savings from the price increase would be used "to pay for development projects and improving the public transport system for the benefit of all people."
The decision to increase the price of fuel was to overcome the impact of rising crude oil prices and to curb the increase in subsidies paid by the Government.
The announcement was made in a statement from the Prime Minister's Department at 10.30pm yesterday.
The retail price for petroleum products is being raised because last year the amount of subsidy borne by the Government was RM7.41bil whereas tax exemption stood at RM7.85bil.
"The burden of subsidy and tax exemption borne by the Government from January to February this year was RM1.19bil and RM1.44bil respectively," the statement said.
The statement said that without the government's subsidy and tax exemption, the retail price of these products in March would have been higher.
Without the subsidy and tax exemption, the price of RON 97 in the peninsula would be RM2.46 a litre, RON 92 RM2.37 a litre, diesel RM1.98 a litre and LPG RM3.21 a kg.
In Sabah, RON 97 petrol without subsidy and tax exemption would be RM2.45 a litre, RON 92 RM2.37 a litre, diesel RM1.97 a litre and LPG RM3.35 a kg.
In Sarawak, the price of RON 97 petrol without subsidy and tax exemption would be RM2.45 a litre, RON 92 RM2.36 a litre, diesel RM1.97 a litre and LPG RM3.34 a kg.
"Although the Government is raising the price of petroleum products, diesel and LPG, the price of petrol and diesel in Malaysia is still cheaper than in other Asean countries except Brunei," the statement said.

Waa....you love your brother so much aaaa?
At my office desk, there’s a photo of me, on an oil platform, on the off shore of northen terengganu.
It was a chance of a lifetime to visit off shore platform. It was way back in February 2001.
Working in an oil and gas company, it was like a dream come true to visit offshore platform by chopper.
The reason I put the photo there is because I’m so proud that I had given the chance to put my feet on the offshore platform.
But.…....
Anyone who visited my desk did not comment on the offshore platform experience. Most would paused, and asked "who is that guy in this photo?” or “Is that you??”
Yes, the photo was taken 5 years ago and 15kg lesser than what I am now!!
I used to jog nearly everyday , not less than 3km a day for almost a year between 2000 - 2001.
And now..what?? jogging?? 400 mtrs? goshhh....100mtrs can laaaah....hehehe
The worst comment so far was “I wonder why he put another man’s photo at his desk?”
And I tell you, that was a genuine naive comment from an Indian lady colleague.
Nowadays, when I see people put up their confused face after looking at the photo, I would voluntarily say " Yeah..it's my brother. It's his last photo before he jumped off"

Trans Fat is very dangerous as it is very hard to be digested by our body.
The molecular structure is very stable and firm. And it will remain as fat in our body, unlike normal fat.
Trans fat can be found in sausage, burgers, some fries, nugget, oil and fillet.

But again, why is all the fuss over big foot?
Tak lain tak bukan, media. And our life is being controlled by media.
What ever media wants us to think, then they will do a mass broadcast.
So many other issues need to be highlighted, other than big foot.
For example Big Mac. How dangerous Big Mac and Co. to our health?
Recent study by McDonalds Corporation themselves, showed that their products contained double or triple the amount of trans fat, than they claimed before.
Trans Fat is very dangerous as it is very hard to be digested by our body.
The molecular structure is very stable and firm. And it will remain as fat in our body, unlike normal fat.
Trans fat can be found in sausage, burgers, some fries, nugget, oil and fillet.

All the comments in this blog, SMSes, phone calls and visits while Indah was recuperating did help.
Thanks for being there, for Indah and us.
Indah is now as healthy as before. Like nothing happened. Alhamdulillah.
She was very energetic after she regained her energy.
Standing on the mattres, talking loudly, singing, hopping on one leg in the hospital room and many more.
Luckily the drip was still atached to her. Kalau tak, dah keluar bilik gamaknye...
Although it required an effort to control her, deep inside, I was very relieved. (betul ke spelling ni?)
Her hyper-active behaviour did not end there..It continued for few days. I told my wife, " Ni macam terlebih dadah ni..doctor kasik ectasy kot.."
Seriously..she talked, singing, monolog non stop unitl she fell asleep. Then continued the cycle..up to 3 days..hehehehe
This post is dedicated to all who have shown their concern and sent their well-wishes.
And for the visitors and the hospital, mintak halal lah coklat2 yg bagi kat indah, coz Indah tak nak..

Picnic at Subang Jaya Medical Center
This morning Indah got up early as she was so excited to go to Sungai Congkak.
Yes, we planned for a picnic with my sister's family and my aunt's family.
Initially, everything went well, until we arrived at Kota Kemuning, my sister's house.
Indah started to complaint on her stomach discomfort.
Indah : Ummi, Indah sakit perut laaa...
Hucs : Nanti kita buh minyak ek..
Indah : Tak nak..takpe..biar je..nanti baik...
I tot it was a normal morning stomach discomfort. And dia pun belum makan apa lagi.
But then, she started to vomit..from 8:45am..until.......9.30 am..
She continously vomit...non stop!!!
First....out go the smarties that she ate earlier....
Next..nothing else, except lendir and kuning/hijau thingy....(something from the hempedu)
And then the worse part came....She started to throw-out reddish, thick liquid....and of course.... it's blood!!!! From 9.30am to 10am - All thick red liquid!!!
So scarry!!
And she was also purging at the same time!!!
She was very weak...nangis pun tak sgt sbb no energy..
And while were preparing to bring her to hospital...she was still vomiting continously.....
Bawak bekas dalam keta and we headed for Darul Ehsan Medical Center in Sek 9 Shah Alam.
At the hospital...In the emergency room. 10am..still vomiting...
The doctor try to stabilize her condition...
Put on the drip to her. At this point she was crying in pain..... :(
So sad to watch her when I helplessly doing nothing, except gosok2 badan dia...
She was given sedative to make her rest so that she can stop vomiting.
Doctor : Saya bagi dia lali sikit sbb tak nak dia muntah lagi sbb perut dia dah luka. Maybe dah gastric sbb kosong sgt, and she still teran, Tu yang darah tu....
Hucs : What does the blood means? Is it dangerous or serious?
Doctor : We need to take her blood sample and we might refer her to Subang Jaya Medical Center as we dont have the facilties to monitor her (ICU) should her condition become worse...
And we want to send her now , rather than sending her at more critical condition. It is not fair for the receiving hospital.
Hucs : Whatever doctor, as long as that is the best.
Doctor : Ok then..Nurse, prepare the ambulance to refer patient to SJMC. Nanti awak jgn 'kejar' ambulan tu tau...(doc warned me)
It was indeed a very bad scene. Watching Indah lying semi-conciously with the oxygen mask and the drip was really heart-breaking. However, at least she could rest and stop vomiting.
Thank God!!!

I watched Indah and Haida boarded the ambulance with a very very ..tak-tau-nak-habaq... feeling...
Seddiiiihhh...sayuu...sangat.. ...
And watching the ambulance sped off, with my two most beloved people on earth in it.....I almost cried......:'( Tak bleh ckp byk la bab ni...sedey ler..
At SJMC....
I arrived at Subang Jaya Medical Center 10 minutes later (As I was warned by the doctor not to try to 'kejar' the ambulance ). Indah has already receiving treatment in the ER.
Then we waited for almost an hour to get a bed. Indah got the 2 bedded room (not qualify for the single bedded room according to ExxonMobil Medical Plan...)
And after 1 hour Indah was admitted, the other person in the room was discharged. Kira bilik sorang la skang...ok la tuu..
And after everything settled, Indah continued her sleep (she has been drowsy since in the ambulance, de to the sedative)
Then, my sis came with all the foods that we prepared for picnic....
So..picnic kat SJMC lah kita.......

Awek punye pasal..4 suami org jadi kartun
The walking distance between Menara ExxonMobil to BSN HQ in Jalan Ampang is toleratable.
It should be a short 13 mins walk and straight to the point.
However, today, because of this awek ntah dari mana ntah….tiba2 muncul,
the journey became a long and tiring journey – thanks to Ch
How was the history created....
At 11.45am, Hucs, De, Ch and Gd met at the lobby. We decided to go to BSN for our lunch.
After walking for 5 mins, we bumped into an awek who approached us for direction.
Awek : Nak Tanya sikit boleh?
Gd : Tanya banyak pun takpe …
Awek : (giggling..) cam ner nak gi Menara UOA?
Ch : Lalu belakang ni and masuk bawah tu (KLCC convention center), terus ke AQUARIA and naik escalator, kelaur and nampak ler Menara UOA.
Awek : Oh ye ke? Tapi I tak biasa la tempat ni. Lalu kat sana boleh? (pointing at Mandarin Oriental)
Ch : Isk..tu dah jauh patah balik tu..ikut sini haaa..senang…..
Awek : Tak pe lah, lalu sana lah.sini tak biasa.
Hucs : Panas ler..Lalu sini ada underground, turun tangga tu, mesti nampak punye direction to Aquaria. Follow je..
Awek : Tak pe, I ada payung..
Ch : Laa..tak susah pun..Jom kitorang tunjuk jalan, (i.e escort)
Hucs : (Woi!! Ko giler ke?? Kita nak gi bsn la…jauh tu nak kena pusing.Ini dah kes tak masuk akal ni?? Isk..) Dalam hati sambil buat muka confused and tak paham….hehehe
Nak tak nak, i had to drag myself to follow the crowd. Patah balik and escort sampai UOA.
On the way..
Awek: isk..susah2 je hantar samapi kat sini. You all kan nak pegi BSN. Jauh dah ni
Hucs: (Dgn nada sindiran mauttt yang ditujukan khas ke Ch) - Kitorang ni memang suka teman pelancong, Biasa la jalan ikut jalan jauh2 ni...
Awek: hekhekhek..hekhekhek..gigling..gigling...
Bila awek tu dah pegi (i,e dah selamat sampai UOA), suma baru nak bukak mulut..
Hucs : Giler betul la..sanggup patah balik gi BSN ikut jalan jauh, semata-mata sbb awek tuuh..
Ch : Korang ni apa laa...aku dah bukak jalan, bukan nak mintak no tepon ke..
Gd : Budak UM tuu..mesti ramai lagi member kat Uni/Kolej
Hucs : (isk…skang baru nak bising, tadi control…) – dalam hati
Hucs : Haa…kan skang dah kena menapak jauh ni..dah ler panas pukul 12tghr tepat niii..
Ch : tee…hee ..hee
Ch : haa..ni ada jalan shortcut, terus gi blakang BSN
De : Ye ke? Boleh masuk ke? nampak pagar je…
Ch : Bolleeeyyyyy…..
Hucs : Nampak cam tak convincing je…betul ke ni ada pintu?
Ch : ada punyeee.. aku kata ada, adalah...
As Hucs, Ch and De searched for the gate, we realized GD was already on the other side of the fence.
Gd :Oi..cepat aa…tengok2 apa lagi…
Hucs : isk..kena panjat ke? Ni pagar bank tau..kena tembak kangg..
ni sapa la punye idea ni..shortcut lah, awek lah...pot pet pot pet..(membebel)
Then suddenly.....Jangan bergerak!!..(acah jer..hucs imagination je...)
And all I remembered after that was I had already climbed over the fence.
Hucs : Cheh…abih tangan hitam, sib baik tak kena baju.
De: Eh ada paip banyak la kat sini..untuk apa ek?
Gd: Untuk basuh tangan aaa..diaorang memang tak kisah kalau panjat pagar ni, siap bagi air lagi nak basuh tangan
Hucs: banyakkk la nko
Gd : Ko tau tak kenapa bank selalu kena rompak?
Gd : tuu…(pointing at police BSN cum jaga yang tgh tido dlm rumah batu kecik)
Hucs : Ini suma kerja kartun betul la. Awek mana ntah punye pasal, abih berpeluh2. siap kena panjat pagar bank lagi. Sib baik tak kena tangkap
Ch : Tee…hee..hee….

No St. Valentino memorial day for me.....
Februari datang lagi...bersama-sama hari paling bermakna bagi pasangan kekasih.
Valentine's Day is back! Walaupun Muslimin kat Malaysia dah ramai paham kenapa tak boleh meraikan Valentines, masih ramai yang ignore. Seolah2 masuk telinga kanan, keluar telinga kiri. Kalau tak ignore pun, they just lawan balik with 1001 reasons mengikut fahaman masing-masing. Although mufti dah confirm kata tak boleh, these people still want to have their own excuses.
And kalau siapa yang tak tahu sejarah VD, carik je dlm internet. Then, hopefully kita akan ikut advise from Mufti Perak.
This post bukan lah untuk menceritakan sejarah VD, tapi more on peringatan kepada yang yang terlupa.
"Sesungguhnya manusia itu dalam kerugian. Kecuali orang-orang yang beriman dan beramal salih, dan mereka pula berpesan-pesan dengan kebenaran serta berpesan-pesan dengan sabar" - Al-'Asr 2-3
Mufti Negeri Perak pernah membuat kenyataan bahawa VD patut dijauhi bagi mereka yang beriman kepada Allah.

So, kepada muslim semua, janganlah melibatkan sedikit pun diri kita dengan VD.

Kedua; ia dapat menyebabkan hati sibuk dengan perkara-perkara rendahan seperti ini yang sangat bertentangan dengan amalan agama. Tidak sepatutnya kita terlibat dengannya, baik dalam bentuk makan-makan, minum-minum, berpakaian, saling tukar hadiah ataupun lainnya.
Memang aku ada dengar orang kata, “ janganlah kita jadi terlalu sempit. Kita bukan meraikan St Valentino atau pun memperingati, kita cuma suka2 sempena Hari memperingati kekasih.”
Ada juga yang kata, “fitrah manusia kan ialah berkasih-sayang? Apa salah ke kita berkasih sayang pada VD? Bukan nye kita follow aktiviti keagamaan ke, apa ke, kita cuma amik satu hari utk berkasih sayang.”
Hucs kata :
Bukan ke VD itu hari kekasih? Jangan nak carik excuse kata VD tu hari berkasih sayang. Kasih sayang adalah terlalu suci. Berkasih dengan kekasih yang bukan halal adalah perkara tak suci. Jauh bezanya tu. And berapa sgt yang sambut VD dgn parents or siblings? Maybe ada, tapi tak ramai.
Sekarang, kita di beri pilihan. Nak ikut tafsiran sendiri atau tafsiran para ulamak yang mengkaji dan mempelajari ISLAM dgn lebih mendalam.
Bagi aku, kalau kita sendiri tak sure, baik kita tinggalkan sahaja. Ini berkaitan AKIDAH, dan ia sangat berbahaya.
So, atas dasar itu, aku tetap anggap VD HARAM untuk umat ISLAM.
To my non–muslim friends who are reading this, I am not against anyone, or being paranoid or being conservative.
And without celebrating VD or without joining you guys celebrating VD, I can still be your friends. Right?.
You know that I always be rational and open minded. Not celebrating VD is one of my rational action, where my belief is concern.

Valentine's Day is back! Walaupun Muslimin kat Malaysia dah ramai paham kenapa tak boleh meraikan Valentines, masih ramai yang ignore. Seolah2 masuk telinga kanan, keluar telinga kiri. Kalau tak ignore pun, they just lawan balik with 1001 reasons mengikut fahaman masing-masing. Although mufti dah confirm kata tak boleh, these people still want to have their own excuses.
And kalau siapa yang tak tahu sejarah VD, carik je dlm internet. Then, hopefully kita akan ikut advise from Mufti Perak.
This post bukan lah untuk menceritakan sejarah VD, tapi more on peringatan kepada yang yang terlupa.
"Sesungguhnya manusia itu dalam kerugian. Kecuali orang-orang yang beriman dan beramal salih, dan mereka pula berpesan-pesan dengan kebenaran serta berpesan-pesan dengan sabar" - Al-'Asr 2-3
Mufti Negeri Perak pernah membuat kenyataan bahawa VD patut dijauhi bagi mereka yang beriman kepada Allah.

So, kepada muslim semua, janganlah melibatkan sedikit pun diri kita dengan VD.
Pertama; ia merupakan hari raya bid'ah yang tidak ada dasar hukumnya di dalam syari'at Islam.
Kedua; ia dapat menyebabkan hati sibuk dengan perkara-perkara rendahan seperti ini yang sangat bertentangan dengan amalan agama. Tidak sepatutnya kita terlibat dengannya, baik dalam bentuk makan-makan, minum-minum, berpakaian, saling tukar hadiah ataupun lainnya.
Memang aku ada dengar orang kata, “ janganlah kita jadi terlalu sempit. Kita bukan meraikan St Valentino atau pun memperingati, kita cuma suka2 sempena Hari memperingati kekasih.”
Ada juga yang kata, “fitrah manusia kan ialah berkasih-sayang? Apa salah ke kita berkasih sayang pada VD? Bukan nye kita follow aktiviti keagamaan ke, apa ke, kita cuma amik satu hari utk berkasih sayang.”
Hucs kata :
Bukan ke VD itu hari kekasih? Jangan nak carik excuse kata VD tu hari berkasih sayang. Kasih sayang adalah terlalu suci. Berkasih dengan kekasih yang bukan halal adalah perkara tak suci. Jauh bezanya tu. And berapa sgt yang sambut VD dgn parents or siblings? Maybe ada, tapi tak ramai.
Sekarang, kita di beri pilihan. Nak ikut tafsiran sendiri atau tafsiran para ulamak yang mengkaji dan mempelajari ISLAM dgn lebih mendalam.
Bagi aku, kalau kita sendiri tak sure, baik kita tinggalkan sahaja. Ini berkaitan AKIDAH, dan ia sangat berbahaya.
So, atas dasar itu, aku tetap anggap VD HARAM untuk umat ISLAM.
To my non–muslim friends who are reading this, I am not against anyone, or being paranoid or being conservative.
And without celebrating VD or without joining you guys celebrating VD, I can still be your friends. Right?.
You know that I always be rational and open minded. Not celebrating VD is one of my rational action, where my belief is concern.

On this date I first met my teman sejati (name in my cellphone), my better half (although physically we don't look like two halves, but at heart...yes) , my true love.
It was 5am. I had just arrived from Klang (by bus and then cab) accompanied by two of her younger sisters who both studied at UiTM.
In front of Desasiswa Cahaya, in a cold early morning at USM, I first met my life partner.
Mata bertentang mata, dari mata turun ke hati. Dup dap dup dap berdebor sampai terlupa nak bayar teksi.
Flashback :We were introduced by my sis-in-law (Kak Chik) thru a photo. At first I was reluctant to be matched this way. After few persuasion, I agreed. Nothing serious in my mind but to play-play calling calling only lah..
Our first conversation was thru the phone wave on Jan 20 2001 (read: 20012001)
One phone call - that's all it takes for the cupid to strike. I felt that we have the chemistry, and on that day only, we talked for more than 4 hours. (gatai sungguh)
The rest is history.
Back to 1002 2001.
We had a great day. Went to Batu Ferringhi (of course accompanied by the two sis-in-law - kacao daun betul la..hehehehe). Take photos, lunch etc...takkan suma nak citer sini ye tak...?
The climax for that particular day was when we declared our love to each other. Of course I confessed first (tak malu).hahahaha....
At 8:01pm, (read: 20011002 2001) we promised to be lifetime lovers. Until now and hopefully forever, we will be happily ever after..till death do us part.. and kemudian di syurga...Insya Allah.
And on the same year (december) , kami selamat diijabkabul..alhamdulillah...(lagu tema masa tu...In Team - Kasih Kekasih. tiong tiong tiong (starting lagu tuu..) hehehehehe

where am I? what am I? who am I?
Sebelum aku lupa, hari ni 10 muharram. tapi dah terlambat nak ingatkan orang suh puasa sunat.
Today I had a phone chat with a friend from PPP, IT 95-99.
She is now a lecturer in Uitm, our alma mater.
We talked about the environment in Uitm nowadays and who is where or what.
Pn Liza - Lecturer yang jaga kitorang dulu, Kira Head of IT Dept in PPP Sect 17 is going to complete her PHD soon. Final stage. Nanti jadik Dr Liza
Pn Yati - Started as tutor .Now is Ketua Jabatan Diploma Computer Science
Cik Lily - Dulu cik..skang tak sure status. Started as tutor and now is doing PHD.
Zaidah - Ketua Jabatan pada WanF. I remembered her as my tutor back in 1995 and my lecturer in Artificial Intelligence. Suara kecik2..yang john suka imitate...
WanF told me that she has several awards in her bag related to Artifical Intelligence. Wow!
Cik Naimah -Is now Dr Naimah and married.

Whether this is a trap or not, we have to show our stand. They need to know how sensitive this is. How important it is to respect others.
The only difference is the way we react or response to this provocation. That is very significant in upholding Islam dignity.
Of course building burning is never an option. However I strongly agree with peaceful demonstration. I'm not being radical but when it comes to religion and beliefs, strong and bold action should be considered.

Main Layang-layang
Yesterday, I bought a kite from the sundry shop for RM 0.50.
Indah wanted to play kite after she saw budak2 kampung kat ganu main kite.
At home I tried hard to recall my memory on setting up a kite. It was almost twenty years when I last played a kite.
When all done, at 6.oopm I tried to fly the kite. Indah watched me with high hope but Haida was sarcastic about the idea her husband is going to fly the kite..hehehe..ni kes dah mencabar ni..
And the wind was so strong that my first attempt was foiled because the kite pusing2 cam giler and terbelit kat wayar depan umah...isk.....tensen betul.
Then I brought it down and do some 'modification' to the ekor.
After that, I managed to flew the kite. (sori lupa amik gambar) Indah had the joy to hold the kite, 50 meters up away from her. And she was very happy...until....
arggh...hujan..suma kena balik....

Orange is THE color.
Yes! Finally I chose butter scotch orange to match the Lamex border wall paper for Indah bedroom.
The initial concept is 'garden' but then I could not find the suitable wall paper for the theme. The closest is farm and garden. Bolehlah match lagu Old MacDonald.
Some books/magazines are against orange for bedroom as they claimed it could make some people restless or aggressive. But for a milky orange matching with white furniture, the 'energy' of the color will be balanced. Furthermore, Indah as we know, will not love gloomy bedroom.

I always wanted to be away from norm. Pinky kids bedroom is common. So as blue. Lavender and white is booked for my bedroom. That left Indah to not much of an option.
There are not many colors left and I believe orange is a brave and rare choice for bedroom.

Apa bayi buat dalam perut?
Sebenarnya ada dua soalan, apa bayi buat dalam perut dan apa korang buat dalam dunia ni...Untuk mengetahui apa yang bayi buat dalam perut, kita tanya seorang ibu (kononnya) yang di beri izin oleh Allah untuk bercakap dengan bayinya….
BERCAKAP DENGAN BAYI:
Ibu: Apa kabar kau?
Bayi: Kabar baik aku.
Ibu: Apa kau buat kat dalam tu?
Bayi:Aku duk pusing2 sambil makan2.
Ibu: Ada apa kat dalam?
Bayi: Tak nampak apa2, gelap tapi nyaman, tidak sejuk dan panas, sambil makan2. Aku selesa di sini.
Ibu: Apa kau makan kat dalam tu?
Bayi:Makanan yang dihantar melalui tali pusat.
Ibu: Oh..Itu darah haid…agaknya.
Bayi: Apa itu darah haid.?
Ibu:.. kalau ibu cakap pun kau bukannya paham..
Bayi: Cakap je lah..
Ibu: Perempuan kalau tidak beranak keluar darah haid, tapi bila dah mengandung darah haid dah takde, Allah tukar jadi makanan bayi ..ibu rasalah…agaknya.
Bayi: Tak faham aku..
Ibu: Kang ibu dah cakap….
Bayi: Tapi aku tak sedap hatilah, aku makin hari makin sukar bergerak, ada benda2 tak berguna keluar dari badan aku dan menganggu aku.
Ibu: Patutlah kau duduk terajang-terajang, rupa2nya kau tak bebas bergerak..Itu adalah tangan dan kaki kau, kau tak perlukan kat dalam tu tapi bila kau keluar kau sangat2 perlukan tangan dan kaki kau tu..
Bayi: Ah taknaklah saya, baik saya gunakan zat tu untuk besarkan tali pusat. Boleh makan banyak sikit.
Ibu: Jangan begitu anakku, bila kau lahir nanti takkan ade doctor boleh cipta kaki untuk kau, kau akan cacat selama-lamanya…kau tak boleh naik basikal
Bayi: Basikal tu apa?
Ibu:Itu adalah salah satu nikmat dunia, bila sampai masa nanti kau akan kena keluar dari perut mak, kau akan menagis terkejut…
Bayi: Baiklah mak…tapi saya tak takut kerana tuhan dah bagitau bila saya keluar nanti ada malaikat jaga saya.
Ibu: Malaikat?, Siapa nama malaikt tu…?
Tuhan kata panggilah dia: BONDA.
Tammat…
Sekarang korang ikuti temubual aku bersama makhluk ‘engkau’…
BERCAKAP DENGAN ENGKAU:
Aku: Apa kabar kau?
Engkau: Kabar baik aku.
Aku: Apa kau buat kat dunia ni?
Engkau:Aku duk pusing2 sambil cari makan..
Aku: Apa yang kau makan?
Engkau:yang halal. Macam2 ada: nasi ayam, nasi itik. Nasi goreng kampong…
Aku: Oh..Itu makanan dari tanah.Akhirat nanti makan dari khazanah Allah..
Engkau:: Apa itu khazanah Allah..
Aku:.. kalau aku cakap pun kau bukanya paham..
Engkau:: Cakap je lah..
Aku: Khazanah Allah ,makan dlm shurga kau niat je terus muncul, macam magik ler...
Engkau:: Tak faham aku..
Aku: Kang aku dah cakap….
Engkau: Tapi aku tak sedap hatilah ramai pendaqwah ganggu aku, mintak aku bagi masa dengar ceramah, tak bebas aku dibuatnya…
Aku: Patutlah kau lari2, rupa2nya kau rasa tak bebas bergerak. Diorang tu mintak masa supaya akhirat nanti kau tak rugi…bila kau tak solat, akhirat nanti takde kepala, kau tau?
Engkau:: ye ke ni,,,Ah taknaklah aku, baik aku gunakan masa tu untuk besarkan pernigaan aku. Boleh makan banyak sikit.
Aku: Janganlah begitu engkau…, bila kau dah jadi mayat nanti takkan ade org boleh tolong kau dalam kubur, padang mahshar, titi sirat…tak dapat shafaat nabi.
Engkau:: Shafaat tu ape?
Aku; Itu adalah salah satu nikmat akhirat, Nabi bagi kat org yg ikut sunnah dia...bila sampai masa nanti kau akan akan jadi mayat, baru kau tau...kau akan menangis terkejut…
Engkau: ah..mulalah nak daqwah aku tu.... aku sibuklah nak baca blog engkau ni baik aku pergi besar kan ‘tali pusat’ aku….
Sigh out….
Disini solat, puasa, haji memang tak nampak manfaat, tapi korang akan dapat manfaatnya disana, akhirat yang kekal abadi…macam bayi, dalam rahim tangan, kaki, mana ada manfaat, bila dah beranak kalau cacat, cacat selama-lamanya, tali pusat yang paling sedap dalam perut mak kita jika bagi kat korang sekarang, muntah bueekkk, korang…tapi manusia hari ini sibuk besarkan ‘tali pusat’ hingga lupa pada perintah Allah…nauzubillah…

Ibu:.. kalau ibu cakap pun kau bukannya paham..
Bayi: Cakap je lah..
