Some offices allow cigarette breaks to their employee. For each cigarette they would easily spend 10 minutes off the desk.If during office hours, they are having 10 cigarettes, that's already 100 minutes.And company is OK with that. No question asked
At the same time, the same offices, do not allow their employee to do internet browsing for non-business related during office hours. It is called 'misusing of the computing facilities'.
For me, as long as you go to harmless sites, internet browsing should be allowed. People can do banking, bill payment, reading on line news, and so on nowadays. Life without internet is a past thing. Are they implying that smoking is acceptable and internet browsing is not?
Isn't better to have internet-browsing breaks between your stress works, instead of cigarette breaks? Unless it is a tobacco company..tu lain citer
